 September 25, 2007 Construction Update

 

• Siding replacement and wood rot repairs are finished on the rear side.
• New windows and sliding patio doors installed for all 6 units in building 200.
• All balconies rebuilt, Handrail installation at the final stages 

 

 

•  Siding installation and wood rot repairs are finished on the front and right side of building 200.
• Windows and new entry doors installed.
• Interior trim installation in progress.
• Entry stairs and bike storage fences finished
• Acrylic caulk application in progress on the front elevation

 

 

September 07, 2007 Construction update

• Building #200 rear side all old siding has been removed.
• Building #200 rear side making wood rot inspection. Repairing damaged framing, installing new plywood and Tyvek Home Wrap.
• Building #200 rear new siding on unit 201 installed. Moving further with new siding installation to units 203 & 204.
• Building #200 all new corners and windows' trims installed on side wall.
• Building #200 new siding installed on 3/4 of side wall.
• A/C unit fence installed
• Unit 201 bicycle storage fence finished
• Unit 201 stair railings will be finished today 

 

August 30, 2007 Construction update

• Left side wall all old siding removed.
• New windows installed on left side wall
• Front side siding will be finished today
• Rear side #201 unit sliding door will be changed today
• First and second floor new balconies framing constructed
• Unit 202 front stairs railing completed

 

 

August 27, 2007 Construction update

• Front side siding installation almost finished
• Stairway railing trimmed
• Unit 202 bike yard fence finished
• Unit 202 railing installation in progress
• Building #200 left side and rear side wall renovation started.
• Removing old siding boards, inspecting plywood, construction framing for wood rot.
• Fixing damaged framing, installing new plywood and covering with Tyvek Home Wrap.
• Installing new windows and sliding doors on first floor.
• Demolishing first floor balconies

 

 

August 17, 2007 Construction update

 

• Front side new siding installation started. Building's front right side and first floor siding installation completed.
• Stairs to second floor reconstructed
• Stair trimming and railing trimming in progress
• New safet installation on first and second floor finished
• Unit 201 and 202 entrance deck floor desks changed.
• Windows and doors flashing and trimming finished

 

 

August 08, 2007 Construction update

• Building #200 front old siding removing in progress
• Removing wall sheetrock covering
• Making inspection for framing wood rot
• Installing new plywood and Tyvek Home Wrap
• Replacing front door and windows
• Installing flashing around doors and windows
• Old railigs removed from stairway
• Ceiling safet removing
• Next week will start unit 201 and 203 old siding removing and windows changing new railing installation
